Moderately hazy with great head retention, smells of mango, pineapple, and tangerine. The taste is crisp and fruity with notes of wheat crackers, sourdough, with papaya, pineapple, and guava underneath a soft full body. The finish is long and high in bitterness, featuring notes of grapefruit, lime peel, pine, and herbal hops. Overall, it’s more of a West Coast style than I expected, very malty and quite bitter, but the New England haze and fruitiness, while restrained, are there if you look for them.
