Dave Drinks Beer

I review the beers I drink

Red Shed – Treebeerd

Lightly hazy with light head retention, smells of graham cracker, honey, and malted milkballs… The taste is smooth and almost sweet with flavors of oat milk, honey, toasted almonds, and subtle woody juniper on a creamy medium body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of oak, pine, and herbal hops along with a light minerality. Overall, I don’t believe I’ve ever had a beer of this style either, but I really quite enjoy it. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever had, exquisitely soft and delicately woody and herbal throughout, the juniper being quite reserved yet still identifiable. I would love to find more beers like this.
