I review the beers I drink

Red Hook – Winterhook (37th Edition)

Lightly hazy with excellent head retention, smells of gingersnap cookies, caramel, and clove. The taste is crisp and spicy, with flavors of toasted bread, caramel, ginger, clove, and cinnamon on a smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of toasted cinnamon, grapefruit peel, burnt caramel, herbal hops and subtle pine. Overall, this is a nice festive ale that’s well spiced and well balanced. A perfect end to the advent calendar!
