I review the beers I drink

Red Hook – Storm Surge

Lightly hazy with great head retention, smells of grapefruit, pine, and floral hops. The taste is crisp and sappy with flavors of lightly toasted bread, grapefruit, and pine on a smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately high in bitterness, featuring notes of pine resin, grapefruit zest, and a melange of spicy, herbal, and floral hops. Overall, it’s a decent unfiltered West Coast IPA; not actually hazy like a proper NEIPA, and the Cascade kinda overpowers all the other hops, but it’s well balanced and quite refreshing.
