Flashlight test yields a faint, deep Ruby tinted light. Smells of pumpkin pie all the way. A smooth but not creamy mouthfeel brings an intriguing flavor of pumpkin, spices, and dark malts; hops are not present. The finish is the same, lingering without overstaying its welcome. An interesting take on both the pumpkin ale and porter styles. Not even listed on Red Hook’s site so I assume also retired.
