Moderately hazy with great head retention, smells of toasted biscuits, caramel, and molasses. The taste is crisp and bready with flavors of toasted wheat biscuits, burnt caramel, and honey on a smooth medium body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of caramel, herbal hops, and subtle smoke. Overall, I like this one, assertively hopped but with a very bold malt bill to back it up, a best of both worlds beer.
