I review the beers I drink

Perennial Artisan Ales – Code September

Moderately hazy with solid head retention, smells of tangerine, peach, pineapple, and guava. The taste is crisp and bready with flavors of toasted biscuits, caramel, and a hint of stone fruit underneath the soft full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of grapefruit, apricot, floral/herbal hops, and pine. Overall, it’s not as juicy as the nose suggests, but the balance between hops and malt is nice, and although subdued the fruit notes add a pleasant level of complexity.
