I review the beers I drink

Paulaner – Oktoberfest Bier (Wiesn)

Crystal clear with light head retention (and served in the only acceptable manner, by the liter in a Maß) smells of lightly toasted malts, honey, and a hint of floral hops. The taste is crisp and sweet with flavors of honey Cheerios, fresh baked bread, and a hint of caramel and roasted nuts on a medium body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring classic notes of herbal, spicy, and grassy hops. Overall, it’s a wonderfully quintessential Bavarian lager with Noble hop goodness on a base of sweet and nutty malts and just the right body and ABV to make it the perfect festbier.

Brewed on: 5/3/22
