I review the beers I drink

Other Half – Blue Hawaiian Crunchee

Extremely hazy and nearly as murky as a stout… and bluish-green; minimal head retention, smells of oatmeal, toasted coconut, and almonds. The taste is moderately tart and tropical, with flavors of apricot, blue raspberry candy, pineapple, and maraschino cherry with oatmeal and coconut milk underneath on a creamy, smooth full body. The finish is long and lightly tart, featuring notes of toasted coconut, almond liqueur, blue curacao, and sweet & sour mix. Overall, it’s really cool, a nice breath of fresh air for my normal content, with the oat, coconut, and almond flavors pairing quite well with the tropical fruits and acidity of the style.
