I review the beers I drink

Ommegang – Idyll Days Pilsner

Very lightly hazy with great head retention, smells of doughy malts, grassy hops, and citrus. The taste is crisp and bready with flavors of French bread, honey, lemon, and Ritz crackers on an effervescent full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of lemon zest and a melange of floral, herbal, and grassy hops. Overall it’s a perfect pilsner; smooth, crisp, balanced, sessionable, and refreshing.
