Ommegang – Hopstate NY 2022

Ommegang Hopstate NY 2022

Lightly hazy with great head retention, smells of very very faint floral hops, it’s really hard to detect at all. The taste is crisp and smooth with flavors of doughy biscuits, orange juice, vanilla cream, and a hint of guava on a silky smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of orange peels, grapefruit pulp, melon and floral hops. Overall, it’s a very good IPA, surprisingly creamy, almost nitro smooth, with great mellow hops that compliment the smoothness. The lack of aroma is perplexing but I’d drink a 4 pack of this.
