I review the beers I drink

O’Hara’s – Irish Stout Nitro

Flashlight shows a deep crimson hue with great head retention, smells of espresso, chocolate, and smoke. The taste is smooth and milky with flavors of dark chocolate, espresso, milk chocolate, and heavy cream on a creamy, heavy, super smooth, full body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of herbal hops, smoke, coffee, and dark chocolate. Overall, it’s a solidly bold stout, still dry in the Irish tradition, but certainly bolder, especially with the chocolate and coffee flavors, than a Guinness.
