I review the beers I drink

Northway Brewing – Shady Grove

Very hazy and moderately murky with great head retention and light sedimentation, smells of peach, apricot, and tangerine. The taste is crisp and juicy, with flavors of peaches, orange juice, and soft vanilla cream on thick and smooth, yet soft and very full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of grapefruit, apricot, pine, and a hint of lemon juice. Overall, this is a great beer, and in this state, I still enjoy it, but I know it can be better; I’ve had this beer on tap and it was incredible, this can, purchased from the brewery, has started to lose its freshness, though I have no idea how old it is. Dating the cans should be standard practice for a craft brewery.
