I review the beers I drink

New Belgium – Voodoo Ranger XPerimental IPA #2

Clear with minimal head retention, smells of pineapple, passion fruit, and wildflowers. The taste is crisp and fruity with a soft bready character up front and notes of orange blossom, passion fruit, cantaloupe, and honey underneath the medium body. The finish is long and low to moderate in bitterness, featuring notes of lime zest, orange oil, and floral hops. Overall, I like it. It has the fruitiness of a New England while still being clear and having a balanced malt profile. Definitely worth the price of admission (a mixed 12 pack).
