I review the beers I drink

New Belgium – Trippadelic

Trippadelic by NB brewer Mark Sampson, 6oz of Citradelic and 2oz of Trippel. Very lightly hazy with minimal head retention, smells of tangerines with some very faint Belgian yeast and spices. The taste is almost sweet, and subtly juicy with very subtle Belgian notes from the trippel. The finish is citrusy hops and some residual Belgian notes, more or less the same as the initial taste, with moderate to low bitterness. Overall, it’s very drinkable, basically just the Citradelic with a little shot of some Belgian flair and a half-percent higher ABV.
