I review the beers I drink

New Belgium – Spare Room

Spare Room by NB brewer Ted Peterson, 6oz Abbey and 6oz Cellar Blender. Bright ruby with light head retention, smells fruity and acidic, subtle Belgian funk beneath. The taste is tart and doughy, with Belgian yeast flavors throughout and a moderate body. The finish is dry with very low bitterness and herbal hops with salivation-inducing astringency. Overall, this is probably the weakest of the pack, just tastes like the Cellar Blender but watered down.
