L’Argento by NB brewer Eric Salazar, 6oz 1554 and 3 oz Cellar Blender. Deep ruby in color, with minimal head retention, smells of sour cherries and subtle smoky malts. The taste is malty and bready, with a sour fruit note on top, matched with a full body. The finish is crisp and dry, low in bitterness with light herbal hopping, and a remarkably clean palate at the end from the lager yeast and acidic astringency. Overall, a cool experience, sweet and sour, with a double clean finish, kinda like the beer equivalent of a cordial cherry.
