I review the beers I drink

New Belgium – Fat Tire Amber Ale

The classic from New Belgium, crystal clear with minimal head retention. Smells of bready malt and floral hops, with a subtle fruitiness from the yeast, plum and pear perhaps? Taste is lightly sweet, toasty bread with a medium body that develops a masterfully balanced spicy and floral hop bitterness. The malt and hop flavors dance around the tongue, each vying for dominance before the hops ultimately pull ahead and the dry, lightly toasty finish invites you to take another sip. World-class beer, great year round and sessionable for days.
