I got lots of discounted beer to review in the next few days so stay tuned, first up, a (Session I)PA from one of my favorite NE-style brewing specialists, Lord Hobo.
Extremely hazy with some flocculate floating around and amazing head retention; smells of bright citrus oils and pine resin. The taste is sweet and juicy, with tons of lemon flavor matched with a smooth and thick mouthfeel. The finish is low in bitterness and follows the nose with notes of lemon peel, spruce, and a subtle lingering juiciness. Overall this is a fantastic beer, plain and simple.
