Hazy with minimal head retention, smells of soft dough, tangerines, and flowers. The taste is crisp, featuring a wheated bread character with grapefruit and orange underneath the smooth body. The finish is long and high in bitterness with a heavy, oily character and notes of citrus peel, pine, and herbal hops. Overall, it kinda feels like a West coast hop bomb done in a New England style (or on the can, “Boston Style”). Interesting approach, and a fun experience, but not my favorite from Lord Hobo.
