I review the beers I drink

Keegan Ales – Mother’s Milk

Shout out to my other boss at work Matt, who picked these up on clearance, tried one and hated it; lets see how my palate responds. Flashlight shows deep ruby red tones and the head retention is excellent. Smells of booze and chocolate, hints of vanilla and raisin. Taste is a slightly sweet, smoky malt base with a thick yet silky smooth mouthfeel. This then segues into a lightly bitter herbal hop finish with lots of smoky overtones. Honestly, I like it: more complex than I expected and surprisingly drinkable. And the name grosses people out which is always a plus.
