I review the beers I drink

Innis & Gunn – Gunnpowder IPA

Mostly clear with light head retention, smells of floral hops, roasted malts, and a subtle oakiness underneath. The taste is crisp and oaky with a subtle smokiness underneath the medium body. The finish is moderate in length and bitterness, with notes of herbal and spicy hops along with more oak. Overall, it’s a solid English IPA with more oak than bourbon flavor, but it’s a nice change of pace.
