I review the beers I drink

Indeed – Mexican Honey Light

The Great Magnanimous Ansichart has sent me some Minneapolis beer for my birthday and I’m excited to try some new beers that I can’t find locally!

Very lightly hazy with solid head retention, smells of Honey Nut Cheerios, orange blossoms, and bread dough. The taste is crisp and smooth with flavors of wildflower honey, sourdough, cornflakes, and crackers on a soft and silky smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of orange zest, lime peels, honey, grassy/herbal hops, and a touch of mineral water at the end. Overall, this is really good, one of the best uses of honey in beer that I’ve had, and probably the fullest bodied light beer I’ve ever had. A perfect session beer.
