Dave Drinks Beer

I review the beers I drink

Hill Farmstead – Anna

Lightly hazy with minimal head retention, smells of honey, wildflowers, and subtle lemon. The taste is tart, just barely on the line of too tart, though just as with Arthur, all I taste is lemon. The finish is long with no bitterness or hops, just more lemon. Overall, I was hoping the honey would make this more palatable, but other than a slight drop in tartness, this beer is indistinguishable from Arthur: like drinking carbonated lemon juice.
