I review the beers I drink

Hendrick’s & Fever Tree – Flora Adora & Tonic

Smells of cucumber, lilac, and dill. The taste is sweet and floral with flavors of lilac, lavender, cucumber, and mint. The finish is long and floral, featuring notes of lavender, juniper, and rosewater. Overall, surprisingly good; the gin is very bitter and almost soapy straight, but mixes quite well woth tonic to achieve a great balance between sweet, floral, and bitter.

A gimlet is uniquely floral and refreshing.

A dry martini is floral and herbaceous with just a hint of sweetness. Honestly I don’t really enjoy most martinis, but I like this one.

A martinez is floral and aromatic with an undertone of citrus.

A negroni is balanced and fruity with just a hint of the floral botanicals in the finish.
