Hazy with no head retention, smells of cherry, honey, and subtle lingonberry. The taste is tart (just to the point of puckering) and floral, with notes of sour cherry, jasmine, and wildflowers on a medium body. The finish is long and mildly astringent, eliciting salivation and leaving notes of mineral water, grape must, and lemonade. Overall, it’s a sour cherry mead; fun for a bit of variety but not too different from any of these other meads.
