I review the beers I drink

Guinness – Draught Stout

I can’t believe that in over 1200 beers I’ve never reviewed this one (especially after reviewing seemingly every other brew they make)!

Clear with great head retention, smells of chocolate milk, vanilla cream, and roasted coffee. The taste is rich and smoky with flavors of smoked malts, black coffee, and steamed milk on that classic super thick, super creamy nitro body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of smoke, herbal hops, dark chocolate and cold brew coffee. Overall this is the quintessential Irish stout, dry and smoky and so wonderfully smooth while still being surprisingly quaffable.
