I review the beers I drink

Great Divide – Barrel Aged Series: Yeti Imperial Stout

Since this glass was designed in part by Great Divide, I wanted to try one of their barrel aged brews in it. Smells of booze first off, then notes of whisky, vanilla, and roasted malts peek through. Taste is a wallop of smoky malts, bitter hops, oaky smoothness and warming alcohol. Also notes of dark chocolate and coffee, medium mouthfeel and an intense warming, bitter finish. A beast of beer, excellent.
