I review the beers I drink

Goose Island – Bourbon County Brand Wheatwine 2019

Pours a deep auburn color with visible particulate and no head retention, smells of booze, oak, and subtle caramel. The taste is sweet and lightly peppery from the wheat with notes of caramel and toffee underneath on a slick medium body. The finish is long and warm with low to moderate bitterness and notes of herbal hops, oak, and booze. Overall, it’s a fine beer, inoffensive, yet pretty one dimensional; doesn’t really stands up to the other beers in this series.
