I review the beers I drink

Goose Island – Bourbon County Brand Cherries Jubilee Cask Finish Stout 2025

Flashlight doesn’t show through, no head retention, smells of toasted wheat bread, oak, and brown sugar. The taste is sweet and decadent with flavors of cherry, orange, milk chocolate, and whipped cream on a silky soft and smooth extra full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, brown sugar, maraschino cherry stem, and orange bitters. Overall, this is a wonderfully complex and nuanced beer, and absolutely delicious; definitely my favorite of the year (so far). The overall flavor is also very similar to a cordial cherry.
