Moderately hazy with lots of visible sediment and light head retention, smells of mango, papaya, and wildflowers. The taste is dense and lightly sour; notes of apple, cherry, and papaya blend with a soft doughiness on a THICK, chewy body. The finish is long and moderately bitter with floral and herbal hops taking center stage and subtle citrus zest and pine filling in the background. Overall, it’s a very interesting DIPA; wasn’t expecting the soft tartness or the über thick body, but it’s still very drinkable and complex as this breweries offerings seem to always be.
