From what I can gather, this is a blend of 60 and 90 Minute IPAs aged in casks with maple syrup; sounds very interesting!
Fantastic head retention, smells of hops: fresh citrus and juicy mixed with resinous pine and herbal hops, it’s all there. The taste is crisp with a flavor of toasted bread with a peppery character in the background, along with just a touch of sweetness and a full, almost chewy body. The finish is low to moderate in bitterness but long in duration, featuring a reprise of the aroma, with notes of juicy citrus and spicy, piney herbal hops all mingling together with a hint of maple and a subtle warmth from the alcohol. Overall, I love it! Not quite as cool as Sixty One, but it strikes a nice balance, more complex than 60 Minute, yet more drinkable and marginally more sessionable than 90 Minute; buy it if you see it!
