I review the beers I drink

Desnoes & Geddes Limited – Red Stripe

Made a Jamaican jerk chicken and the recipe called for Red Stripe, so I figured I might as well review it. Clear with very thin head; smells of crisp wheat and lots of adjunct grains. The taste is crackery and slightly adjunct funky, a little watery, but pretty balanced for what it is; body is light. The finish is very clean and low in bitterness, more of a mineral water flavor than hops, reminiscent of a Miller High Life. Overall, for an adjunct pilsner, it’s pretty solid, a good sessionable pale summer lager that anyone could a appreciate.
