I review the beers I drink

Conti Malacari – Rocca Marche IGT Rosso 2019

Conti Malacari Rocca 2019

A red made Montepulciano grapes from Le Marche. Smells of blackberry, plum, and fig. The taste is jammy but reserved with flavors of plum, blackberry, and blueberry tempered by a very astringent medium body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness and with a light acidity, featuring notes of leather, grape must, raspberry, cherry, and grape leaves. Overall, it’s a very well rounded red with a subdued jamminess and a perfect balance between acidity and tannins in the dry finish.
