Lightly hazy with minimal head retention, smells of caramel, French toast, and fig. The taste is crisp and malty with flavors of caramel, toasted bread, peppery grains, honey, and dates on a smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of salted caramel, grapefruit, sherry, pine and herbal hops. Overall, this is one is my favorite so far, very complex malt profile balanced with just the right amount of hops.
