I review the beers I drink

Clown Shoes – Lil’ Crispy

So I also picked up the Clown Shoes 12 Beers of Christmas, so I’ll be doing 2 reviews a day for the next 12!

Clear with minimal head retention, smells of nothing really, maybe a hint of lemongrass? The taste is crisp and watery with flavors of toasted bread, subtle citrus, and water on a light body. The finish is long and low in bitterness, featuring notes of grapefruit peel, lemon zest, pine, herbal hops, and mineral water. Overall, it lives up to it’s name, and is a much better beer than So-Lo, but this just isn’t a style I particularly enjoy, the flavor feels too thin.
