I now move on to Tuscan wines, starting with this IGT Pinot Grigio. Smells of pear, apple, and lemongrass. The taste is crisp and lightly fruity with flavors of pear, green apple, kiwi, and lime on a light body. The finish is long and mostly dry with a moderately low acidity, featuring notes of white grape must, lemon zest, lavender, and grape leaves. Overall it’s light and refreshing, exactly what I want in a white wine, with nice floral and fruit notes; quite enjoyable for an $18 bottle.
