I review the beers I drink

Brouwerij Van Steenberge – Tripel Van De Garre

Light to moderate haze with solid head retention, smells of floral hops, sourdough, and banana. The taste is crisp and fruity with flavors of banana bread, fig, zucchini bread, and clover honey on a soft and creamy medium body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of orange peel, sourdough, grapefruit zest, peach, apricot, and floral/herbal hops. Overall this is a fantastic beer, extremely flavorful and balanced despite it’s ridiculously high ABV. House beer of the De Garre pub in Brugges, Belgium; also happens to currently be theĀ #1 Belgian Tripel in the world on BeerAdvocate!
