I review the beers I drink

Brouwerij Lindemans – Kriek Lambic

Lightly hazy with light head retention, smells of cherry cough drops, mead, maraschino liqueur. The taste is tart and sweet with flavors of black cherry, raspberry, rhubarb, and plum on a smooth and syrupy full body. The finish is long and moderately high in acidity (no bitterness), and featuring notes of cherry wood, plum, lemon juice, and cherry pie. Overall this is quite good, the cherry flavors adds a nice complexity to the sweet/sour formula that allows the beer to be brewed ever so slightly stronger.
