I review the beers I drink

Brouwerij Huyghe – Delirium Red

Pours a vibrant purplish pink with light head retention, smells of elderflower, raspberry, and cherry. The taste is candy sweet and fruity with flavors of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, and grape on a soft and smooth full body. The finish is long and very low in bitterness and with a mild acidity, featuring notes of elderflower, elderberry, cranberry, and grape must. Overall, this is a very intriguing ale and not what I had expected at all. Tastes like a lambic but with the body, ABV, and complexity of a Belgian Strong Ale. Dangerously crushable.
