I review the beers I drink

Brooklyn – Sorachi Ace

Apparently an experimental hop variety, this is a Belgian style ale showcasing Sorachi Ace hops. Cloudy with light head retention, smells of Belgian yeast and banana, with hints of alcohol and citrus. Tastes very citrusy with a solid punch of bready malt character. As the full mouthfeel washes over the tongue, the hops build in intensity, possessing a floral Noble-esque flavor with a notable lemongrass overtone. Finish is light and dry, with just a touch of lingering bitterness. Overall, a solid ale with an interesting hop profile, and despite its ABV, still quite sessionable.
