Flashlight shows a deep crimson hue with great head retention, smells of roasted malts, toasted bread, and subtle smoke. The taste is smooth and lightly sweet with notes of sweet cream, vanilla, dark chocolate, and coffee on a full, creamy nitro body. The finish is moderate in length and low in bitterness featuring notes of coffee, chocolate, and herbal hops. Overall, this is a fantastic stout, reminiscent of a Guinness of course being a nitro stout, but sweeter and arguably more complex with a smooth and creamy vanilla character throughout.
