Pours clear with solid head retention, smells of charred grains, citrus and pineapple. The taste is crisp and doughy with notes of lemon, pineapple and melon underneath the full body. The finish is short and low to moderate in bitterness, featuring notes of lemon zest, floral, and herbal hops. Overall, it’s not a bad APA, not particularly unique, but well balanced and very drinkable due to the short finish. I just can’t figure out why in the hell it smells like a campfire. (No Stone review tonight as I have already done Tangerine Express)
