I review the beers I drink

Breckenridge – Breck IPA

Chunky yeast-hazed, light head retention, smells of melon, figs, and alcohol; very intriguing. Taste is bitter hops straight away, notes of raisin and booze beneath the herbal, medicinal bitterness. Malts just give a bit of body and dry, cracker flavor that holds everything together. Light mouthfeel leads to a crushingly bitter, astringent finish. A very hop forward beer that retains enough balance while in the mouth to enjoy, but once you swallow, the malt disappears and with it any semblance of balance. Not really my cup of tea.
