Lightly hazy with light head retention, smells of pine, floral hops, and gingerbread. The taste is doughy and luscious with flavors of white bread, heavy cream, sourdough, and honey on a soft and creamy full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of grapefruit, pine, and herbal/floral hops. Overall this is a fantastic IPA, don’t really get any notes from the yeast, so it really only feels Belgian from the doughy malts and particularly soft and smooth body, something I also noticed about the Rocheforts. Currently the #1 Belgian IPA in the world on BeerAdvocate!
