Blake’s Hard Cider – Salted Caramel Apple

Clear with no head retention, smells of green apple, green apple Jolly Ranchers, and spiced rum. The taste is smooth and lightly sweet with flavors of salted caramel, green apple, and cream soda on a medium body. The finish is long and more vanilla forward than sweet, bitter, or tart; though there is a light acidity, otherwise finish is the same as the initial taste. Overall, it’s kinda disappointing. Does it taste like salted caramel apple? Yes, but like each bite is immediately washed down with A&W cream soda; the apple sweetness and acidity are immediately lost and the salted caramel just blends in with all the vanilla.
