I review the beers I drink

Bières de Chimay – Dorée

Moderately hazy with light head retention, smells of caramel, sourdough, and spicy hops. The taste is crisp and spicy with flavors of sweet rolls, sourdough, coriander, and white pepper on a soft and smooth full body. The finish is long and moderately low in bitterness, featuring notes of coriander, lemongrass, spicy hops, and Belgian yeast. Overall, this is delicious and quite sessionable, which as a patersbier, aka enkel (single), makes sense. This beer was originally brewed exclusively for the monks of Abbaye de Scourmont who make Chimay beer, and is the lightest beer in the lineup.
