I review the beers I drink

Bières de Chimay – Cinq Cents (Blanche)

Hazy with light head retention, smells of spicy hops, sourdough, and yeasty funk. The taste is crisp and spicy with flavors of buttery crackers, popcorn, banana bread, and grains of paradise on a soft and effervescent full body. The finish is long and moderately bitter, featuring notes of clove, apricot, spicy hops, and Belgian yeast. Overall, this is a well crafted and delicious Tripel, not my favorite but certainly worthy of it’s trappist prestige.
