My local beer store had a whole shopping cart full of $1 Fall and Winter beers, picked up a mixed 6-pack. A tribute to Muhammad Ali’s ’65 Heavyweight title win in Baxter’s home town of Lewiston, ME. Flashlight test shows no light, I love it! Smells of smoky dark roasted malt, coffee. A very smooth, creamy feeling beer, tastes of coffee and dark chocolate, with a perfect level of hop presence matching the malts in the finish, with a slight alcohol warmth. Excellent stout, unfortunately according to the Baxter website it is retired.
