I review the beers I drink

Apothic – Red 2018

Pours a deep blood red hue, smells of cherry, leather, and aromatic pipe tobacco. The taste is lightly sweet, with notes of cherry, plum, and blackberry on a smooth, medium body. The finish is long and warming, featuring notes of leather, grape must, and forest floor. Overall, I really like this one. It’s a great balance of fruity and reserved sweetness up front, with a bold and semi-dry finish and a nice complexity.

ABV:13.5%
IBU:
Malts:Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon
Yeast:Wine
